Dujuan ‘Whisper’ Richards added to Jamaica squad ahead of final qualifying games
Chelsea FC striker Dujuan 'Whisper' Richards has been named to Jamaica's squad for the upcoming Concacaf World Cup qualifier, a day before the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) is set to officially reveal the team.
In a social media post on the club's academy Instagram page, Chelsea confirmed Richards has been selected for Steve McClaren's squad ahead of the final two games of World Cup Qualifying.
Richards was a late addition to McClaren's squad in the October international window, and scored a goal in Jamaica's 4-0 win over Bermuda at the National Stadium.
McClaren is expected to name his full squad tomorrow, with Jamaica set to close out their games against Trinidad and Tobago and Curacao.
The winner of the group will qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Jamaica currently leading the way with nine points.
